What is Invisalign?

Invisalign treatment is a series of clear plastic aligners , changed on a set schedule, designed by your Orthodontist along with the Invisalign technicians to move your teeth into the correct position.

Everybody wants that perfect smile but many don’t want to wear adult braces. If you are suitable, Invisalign is the perfect solution.

Invisalign aligners and the attachments that keep them in place are extremely discreet and almost invisible. You can take them out for eating or an important meeting. They are removed for cleaning so your teeth and gums stay healthy. The average treatment time is 9-12 months.

How much is a consultation?

Our initial consultation is €150.00 for Adults and €80 for children
At Seapoint Clinis an initial visit is a full orthodontic consultation with our Specialist Orthodontist
We will take Xrays, photos and a scan of your teeth then do a full examination before sitting down with you to discuss our treatment recommendations.
(not every case is suitable for Invisalign, you might need regular adult braces).

So you have made the decision to get your teeth straightened with us using Invisalign, what happens next?

We will organise for you to have some x-rays taken. On review of these, provided your teeth and gums are healthy, we will book a day and time to get your Invisalign journey started.

At this appointment we will a digital scan of your teeth to send to Invisalign. Dr. Griffin will then design a digital treatment plan that we will send to by email. This is called a CLIN check video.

3-4 weeks later we will have you back to fit your attachments and get you started with your first few aligners.

From there we will see you every 6-8 weeks until you are happy with your new smile, sometimes we might do extra aligners at the end to get the right final result but be assured your treatment with us won’t be complete until you are happy with the result

We only do Invisalign Full as it gives us and you this reassurance, some less expensive Invisalign options have a finite number of aligners. This very often leads extra costs at the end to achieve the perfect smile.
